Over $3 Billion Investment Expected for KP’s New Donkey Farm Initiative

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa livestock department is planning to make the donkey farms for donkey exports in the province. With the help of foreign partnership, the donkey farms are going to built-in Dera Ismail Khan and Mansehra. The officials of the provisional department said that agreement would sign with the Chinese government as well as the other registered companies.

The plan for exports of the donkey is the critical breakthrough.  According to livestock department officials that in the first the weak, ailing and paralyzed donkeys supply.

Around 80,000 donkeys exported in the first three years. According to livestock department donkeys are bred in farms in 2.5 to 3 years. The Chinese companies have shown great interest in donkey farms. Foreign companies are also willing to invest $3 billion into the farms.

Around 70,000 households in the province that rely on donkeys for their source of income. According to the livestock department, they said that we sign the agreement as we don’t want scarcity of animals in the province.

The officials said that donkeys used in making furniture and medicines, also Chinese demand their hairs for manufacturing of some items.
